MAC 188SH Short Handle Brush

  MAC 188SH brush   This duo fibre brush is easily one of the cutest brushes I own.  I literally squeed when I laid eyes on it! At just about 4.5 inches in length, it is short but sturdy. Its head is the same as it's full-sized MAC 188 brush. I love using duo fibre brushes to apply face powder over liquid foundation (prevents it from being cakey) and to apply darker more pigmented shades so its easy to build colour instead of applying the fierce shade all in one go.   The 188 is also smaller than the MAC 187 duo fibre brush and is therefore more able to get into smaller areas  such as on the sides of the nose and underneath the eyes.

Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette

Now this is a force to be reckoned with. The Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Eyeshadow Palette is inspired from 12 of the most popular Sleek Makeup palettes. This palette contains 12 wearable eyeshadow shades, some of which are from previous Sleek Makeup palettes. I have quite a few of these palettes and have compared the shades to see which ones are most similar and which ones I have not been able to find dupes for in the said palettes.

Paraguaya - similar to the said palette's Bellini - a matte pale yellow beige, perfect for highlighting
Sunset - a shimmery peachy beige, perfect lid colour
Me, Myself and Eye - similar to the said palette's Barry White - a shimmery white
Bad Girl - a shimmery golden olive, new to this palette
Noir - a shimmery gunmetal grey, new to this palette
Ultramattes V2 - similar to the said palette's Noir - a matte dark grey

Oh So Special -similar to the said palette's Wrapped Up - a matte grey
Bohemian - a matte yellow toned pink, new to this palette
Storm - a matte navy blue, new to this palette
Sparkle - a sparkly pale gold, new to this palette
Au Natural - a dark purple with silver sparkles
Graphite - a shimmery bronze

  All eyeshadows are super pigmented as to be expected from Sleek Makeup. It would be perfect if they included a matte brown instead of two shades of grey.  
I expected most of these colours to be excerpts of shades from their named palettes, however I'm surprised to find that only some of them are.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Cream Blush Review

 

The Little Round Pot Cream blushes are new additions to the huge Bourjois makeup line. Here I have two gorgeous colours. They are 02 Healthy Glow and 03 Rose Tender. Healthy Glow is a coral colour with some subtle peachy shimmers. Rose Tender is a slightly shimmery medium-toned rose. The texture is just divine. They are creamy to touch and apply, but dry to a powdery finish. Feels like second skin! I love it!

Roger and Gallet Fleur de Figuier Review

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Soap & Body Lotion

They've done it again! Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier has to be one of the most gorgeous delicious refreshing scents I've encountered in a long time. I never thought fig could be used as a fragrance. Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier collection smells fresh, fruity and sweet. Francis Kurkdjian created this scent inspired by his memories of the Mediterranean. As well as the soft sweet scents of Fig Leaves, Fig Milk and Fig Pulp, it also contains the tangy zesty freshness of mandarin and grapefruit. Cedar, Caraway seeds and musk adds a little bit of enchantment to this amazing scent.

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Body Lotion (£12.50) has a nice thin consistency that dries quickly, leaving a velvety feel on the skin. Perfect for the summer!

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Soap (£5.50) comes in its own soap case, ready for use in the shower.

Roger and Gallet never fails to disappoint! I'm in love with these products. I definitely recommend this range. Also available in Shower Cream and Eau Fraiche.

Bourjois Queen Attitude Mascara - A Must-Have!

  I'm so thrilled to share this bad boy girl with you.  It is Bourjois Queen Attitude Mascara.  It is one of the best drugstore mascaras I've tried to date!   The brush is a little bendy with bristles spaced wide apart.   It applies beautifully and separates lashes. It elongates them (a lot!), and allows several coats to get your desired volume.    And it still looks natural on.   It does not clump, and lasts all day.

Sleek Makeup Lip4 Tease Lipstick Palette Review, Swatches

Sleek Makeup have released a line up of 4-colour lipstick palettes called the Lip4 Lipstick Palettes for this spring and summer. Here I have the palette in Tease.   Tease is a quad of predominantly red-themed lip creams. They are all very pigmented.    Show Off is a pinky red with a creamy satin finish. Spotlight is a coral red with a matte finish. Paris is a blue based pink with a matte finish. Dita is a bright red with a glossy finish.   Each palette comes with a single ended lip brush for a precise application. Otherwise, you can use clean fingertips to apply these with ease.
